I am a Director, DoP, and Photographer with many years of experience in the film industry. I have worked across a wide range of production environments — from feature films, documentaries, and broadcast television to commercial productions. This has shaped a hands-on working style, with a clear understanding of both creative and production processes.
For several years, I worked at MTV as a Producer and Director. In a fast-paced editorial environment, I learned how to develop ideas quickly, shape stories with clarity, and deliver content under pressure. This period laid a strong foundation for my work as a Director and deepened my understanding of audience-driven storytelling.
After several years in structured production environments, I stepped away from fixed frameworks. I sold everything and moved into a self-converted school bus, lived a minimalist life, and spent several years traveling across Europe. Photography became a central part of my life and work during this time. What began as documenting life on the road evolved into a personal project that received international recognition and led to several publications.
Years later, I am still telling stories — but today they begin at home.
I built my own small house from the ground up. A self-built circus wagon near Berlin, created with natural materials and a strong focus on sustainability. It’s where I live. It’s where I work. And it’s the foundation of everything I share.
Living small has become the core of my work. I create content around conscious living, responsible consumption, and the reality behind building and shaping a different lifestyle. With my Instagram channel and Small Living Mag, I encourage people to trust their own abilities, start their own projects, and pursue ideas and dreams that may take time — but carry real meaning.
Today, I focus on branded content and collaborate with brands that align with these values. Intentionally. Thoughtfully.

Ich arbeite seit vielen Jahren als Director, DoP und Fotograf. In dieser Zeit habe ich in ganz unterschiedlichen Production Environments gearbeitet – von Feature Film und Dokumentationen, über Broadcast TV bis hin zu Werbefilm Produktionen. Das hat meinen Arbeitsstil geprägt: hands-on, und mit einem klaren Verständnis für kreative Prozesse ebenso wie für die Produktionsrealität dahinter.
Über mehrere Jahre war ich bei MTV als Producer und Director tätig. In diesem schnellen, redaktionellen Umfeld habe ich gelernt, Ideen präzise zu entwickeln, Stories klar zu formen und Content auch unter Druck sauber umzusetzen. Diese Zeit hat mein Verständnis für audience-driven Storytelling entscheidend geprägt.
Nach vielen Jahren in festen Produktionsstrukturen habe ich bewusst einen Schritt zurück gemacht und mich für ein minimalistisches Leben entschieden. Ich habe alles verkauft, bin in einen selbst ausgebauten Schulbus gezogen und mehrere Jahre durch Europa gereist.
In dieser Zeit wurde Fotografie zu einem zentralen Bestandteil meines Lebens und Arbeitens. Was als Dokumentation des Unterwegsseins begann, entwickelte sich zu einem persönlichen Projekt, das internationale Aufmerksamkeit erhielt und in verschiedenen Publikationen veröffentlicht wurde.
Heute erzähle ich weiterhin Geschichten – aber sie beginnen zu Hause.
Über die letzten zwei Jahre habe ich mir ein neues zuhause gebaut. Einen Zirkuswagen nahe Berlin. Diesen gesamten Prozess habe ich mit meiner Instagram Community geteilt und es ist mittlerweile mehr geworden als nur eine Baudokumentation.
Mit meinem Instagram-Kanal und dem Format Small Living Mag möchte ich Menschen ermutigen, ihre Träume zu verwirklichen, Projekte zu beginnen und Ideen zu verfolgen, die vielleicht Zeit brauchen – dafür aber Substanz und Bedeutung haben. Es geht um bewussten Konsum, um ein Mindset, das hinterfragt, und um ein Leben mit der Natur. Nicht als Idealbild, sondern als gelebte Praxis.
Mein Schwerpunkt liegt heute auf Branded Content und ausgewählten Kooperationen mit Marken, die diese Werte teilen. Bewusst. Mit Haltung.
